THE ROLE
We have a new role for an Associate Solicitor 3 + PQE to join a recognised Health-care and Public Law team.
The team handles a range of general health-care and mental health advisory work for the NHS and public/private organisations operating in the health and social care sector. This will include:-
Preparation for and representation at Inquests;
Court of Protection, treatment and best interest cases;
Advising on matters of general health-care law including patient complaints, sudden untoward incidents, Ombudsman investigations and funding issues;
Advising on mental health law, including legality of detention, treatment issues and representation at Tribunals;
Advising on public law issues such as public and patient involvement and consultation, judicial review and human rights;
Providing training to clients, particularly in the fields of mental capacity and mental health law.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a Qualified Lawyer with relevant health-care experience, ready to make a long term carer move
You will have excellent communication skills and delivery.
